Key concepts
What is AEO?
AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation) structures your content to appear as a direct answer in Google: featured snippet, People Also Ask box, sometimes voice search. It complements traditional SEO, which targets the click to your page. We craft short answers (40–60 words) then develop detail below. Each block must remain useful even if Google changes display.
How do you target position zero?
We first identify queries where you are already close to the top 5 — more realistic gains than a frontal assault on an established leader. Then we adapt format (paragraph, list, table) to what Google actually displays for that intent. We test, measure, iterate: losing a snippet is not failure, it is a signal to adjust. Search Console and SERP tools guide priorities.
Strategy & execution
What is a Featured Snippet?
It is the block highlighted above or among organic results; it summarises a page in a few lines without the user clicking. Google chooses format by intent: definition, procedure, comparison. We optimise titles, opening paragraphs, and H2/H3 structure to facilitate extraction. Traffic may drop on the exact query but brand visibility increases — we track both.
AEO and voice search: what is the link?
Voice assistants often read structured, concise excerpts — exactly what AEO produces. We integrate natural spoken phrasing into your FAQs and help sections. The goal is not to hack voice, but to answer clearly the questions your customers actually ask. In French-speaking Switzerland, we account for FR/EN bilingualism when your audiences require it.
Measurement & follow-up
Do you need FAQ schema for AEO?
FAQ/HowTo markup can help when it faithfully reflects visible content — never as decoration. We enable it only when legally and editorially justified. Google may ignore or penalise overloaded or misleading schema. Our priority remains reader clarity; markup follows, it does not lead.
